Our Activities

Something for everyone, every week

Welcoming weekly activities at the HUB, led by our team and volunteers — plus outings across the community that connect our Heroes throughout Genesee County.

  • Bowling

    Friendly lanes, big cheers, and plenty of high-fives.

  • Bingo & Cornhole

    Game nights that mix a little friendly competition with a lot of laughs.

  • Restaurant Outings

    Dining out together while practicing ordering, budgeting, and social skills.

  • Fitness

    Cardio drumming, Zumba, line dancing, and fitness classes for every ability.

  • Ice Cream Socials

    Sweet treats and even sweeter friendships.

  • Arts & Crafts

    Craft night and art class — projects to make, take home, and show off.

  • Specialty Outings

    Detroit Tigers and Flint Firebirds games, theater trips, gardens, and more big adventures.

  • Animal Therapy

    Gentle visits from the Mid-Michigan Therapy Dogs team.

How it works

Who

Young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 17 and up.

Membership

$25/month or $250/year. Members attend standard activities at no extra cost, and a new hero's first activity is always free. Not a member yet? Just $5 per standard activity. Special outings are billed at their ticket cost, shared up front.
