Detroit Pistons VIP Event

Register to be one of the lucky 16 Heroes who will win an opportunity to attend a VIP experience at a Detroit Pistons game compliments of United Way of Genesee County and Detroit Pistons owner, Tom Gores! This experience will include motorcoach transportation to and from the game, enjoy the game in a suite with food, giveaways, and surprises galore! Xceptional Heroes will be honored as the Be Impactful group of the night on the Jumbotron! This experience is for HEROES ONLY. Family members who want to be present will have to purchase general admission tickets and will not be able to participate in the experience activities. One entry per Hero only. All duplicates will be removed. Random drawing will be conducted on Friday, November 13th.

Learn why and how parents are often the hindrance to growth. Come hear from retired psychotherapist, Rachelle McGarry, who is a parent educator and coach. Bring your questions and share your successes. This month the event is ran concurrently with bingo at Richfield Road Church, so feel free to sign up your hero for bingo as well!

Pickleball September 17th - October 22, 2026

Advance your pickleball skills or jump on the bandwagon and learn a new sport! Pickleball will be a 6-week session and requires a full commitment, barring any emergency absences. The session will be from 1:00 - 2:30 PM every Thursday starting 9/17/26 and the last class will be on 10/22/26. PLEASE only sign up if you are fully committed. Xceptional Heroes is proud to share the cost of this activity by supplementing half of the fee as pickleball is considered a "special event" and simply has a one-time fee of $20 without the additional $5 and is separate from membership rates. Please be advised, only Heroes with completed/approved forms are permitted to attend.

Join us for a little Sunday movie and lunch outing! We will be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings and heading right over to NCG trillium afterwards to catch our movie! The movie we will be seeing is Street Fighter! Heroes are responsible for their own meal, drinks, tip, movie admission, and any concessions at the theater.

Flint Institute of Music Therapy

Join us for a "Rolling good time" at Grand Blanc Lanes for Bowling Night! Remember that if you want to bowl with a particular Hero, you must arrive early before lanes are assigned. The 2 hour session will be $10. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join the fun at a nearby lane, outside of our reserved lanes for XH. There are no membership costs associated with this event. Please make sure to sign up if you would like to bowl so that we have enough lanes reserved.
