I love Xceptional Heroes! I like bowling and going to the monthly socials because I get to see my friends and dance. I also like going to Tigers games and Flint Firebirds games. I have fun, make friends, and have something fun to look forward to.

XH has provided a non-judgmental place for us to feel safe and valued. The journey of raising a child with special needs can be lonely and difficult but becoming a part of the XH community brings my heart such happiness. Although Reese can't communicate much about his XH experiences, the smiles reassure me that XH has become an important part of his life that we need to continue.

Xceptional Heroes changed my nephew, Michael's, life. Prior to joining XH, he was alone in his apartment. He got involved by joining group walks and fitness classes. He enjoys the Firebirds games, bowling, and his favorite activity is Pickleball! He has made friends and looks forward to seeing them each week. His whole demeanor changed and he became more confident, happy, and eager to get out and be social. What XH has done for Mike fills my heart.
