Socks from any air park will work!\nIf you have not previously signed waivers\, please plan to arrive a few minutes early to take care of that! It is quite hectic trying to get everything organized at the beginning with collecting money\, signing waivers\, getting socks\, etc. Please plan to arrive early to avoid this frustration!\nAlso\, please have exact change as it is a challenge to try and make change while also coordinating arriving Heroes\, waivers\, collecting payments\, etc.\nChristopher will be present from 5-7pm as our volunteer coordinator\, but you are welcome to stay beyond that time as your leisure!

SUMMARY:Flint Firebirds - Old Newsboys Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:XH families purchase tickets in Section 7 where the Firebirds shoot on net twice a night.  This is a very popular and highly attended activity and we are excited for you to join us!  Ticket prices can vary depending on attendance and we are able to secure group rates when we get 10 or more firm commitments.  Xceptional Heroes will create an event on our Facebook page to collect RSVP’s so we know if we are able to secure the group rate.  Please go to the event page and indicate that you will be attending! \nAlso\, parking is $10 at this venue\, but if you tell the guard that you are with Xceptional Heroes there is no fee.  Please try to arrive at 6:30 to get through security check-in. \nFor this game\, we are challenging our Heroes to collect as many new\, unopened toys as possible ($10 value or more) to donate to charity.  The Hero who collects the most toys will win a special prize from XH!  A flyer has been created to help your Hero request donations from friends\, family\, stores\, etc!  Good luck!

DESCRIPTION:We have added a yoga class to our calendar for November!  We are truly blessed to have Kelsey Koch teach this course for us!  Kelsey is a certified yoga instructor and she is also an amputee.  Kelsey walks the same path as our Heroes and she has so much to offer our group!  Kelsey has had national coverage for her courage and ability to overcome adversity! \nDress comfortably\, bring your yoga mats\, and water!  Ladies\, keep in mind that yoga involves a lot of inverted poses so be mindful to wear tops that won’t slide up!  Yoga is typically done in bare feet\, but if you are uncomfortable with that\, you can purchase yoga socks. \nIf you have any additional yoga mats you would like to donate to XH\, we would gratefully accept them as we are anticipating this being a consistent activity on our calendars!
