Meijer Gardens Butterfly Exhibit

This will be an all-day field trip to Grand Rapids to enjoy the butterflies! We will coordinate a carpool convoy to assist with those who will need transportation. Pack a picnic lunch and we will have a wonderful day together! Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes!
Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming
The annual Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming exhibition at Meijer Gardens is the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the nation. Tropical butterflies from around the world fly freely in the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory every March and April.
Throughout the exhibition, there is special educational programming and the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden offers butterfly-themed activities.
Costs are: Adults – $20, Seniors (65 and older) – $15, Students w/ ID – $15, Children (3-13) – $10, Children (2 and younger) – Free
