Collaboration with TDN and FIA

Do you know the movie, Coco? Have you heard of “Day of the Dead” or an “Ofrenda”?! THIS is your opportunity to collaborate with The Disability Network and Flint Institute of Arts to socialize, learn, and create!
We will learn about and create a piece of art to honor someone dear to us that is no longer with us. It is called an Ofrenda, which has roots in Latin and Mexican cultures. These beautiful works of art are adorned with photos (BE SURE TO BRING YOUR PHOTO!!), flowers, candles, and any objects that are reflective of your special person.
